At Skull Candy Hairshop, we celebrate you exactly as you are. Whether you want something affirming and non-conforming, bold and expressive, or subtle and familiar, you're welcome here. We work with people from all walks of life and price our services by hair length and texture - never by gender.
We specialise in embracing natural texture and supporting self-expression, encouraging everyone to truly come as they are. Our approach is holistic: we work with the whole person, not just what's on your head.
We proudly use ethically sourced, vegan and gluten-free products and colour. Skull Candy Hairshop is an inclusive space for all humans, with a strong emphasis on gender diversity and the queer experience.
CUTTING
Cutting services are based on length, and include a thorough consultation, wash, cut and blowdry/style. We also offer dry cutting services which can be booked if appropriate. Please read through the cutting descriptions, to ensure you have selected correctly.
COLOURING
Colouring services include a thorough consultation, colour application and blowdry/style. We use R+Color which offers low ammonia and ammonia free options. Cutting services that accompany a colour are offered at a discounted rate. If unsure what to book for, please call or text for advice.
STYLING
For when you can't be bothered to do it yourself, want something a little bit fancier, need some education on how to do it yourself at home or just need that little bit extra.
TREATMENTS
We offer express basin treatments that give added hydration or thickening and can last up to 28 washes, as well as semi permanent smoothing treatments that reduce frizz and can last up to six months.
